Meet the two girls
Elli is a 24 year old photographer, originally from Ottawa but currently loving living in Montreal. She is a self-professed badass and is responsible for the cat here at of 2 girls, a cat & no oven. She supplies a lot of the cheese we eat. Elli has been a vegetarian since 1996. Her favourite foods include cheese, Veronica’s tofu-bacon, potato salad and anything with beer in it. You will never catch her eating meat or olives and she currently has a hate-on for cauliflower. Elli enjoys long walks on the beach and gingerbread houses.
Veronica is 23, originally from Halifax, raised in Ottawa and currently living in Montreal with Elli and her cat. Veronica fancies herself a writer. She has her own sex column, Veronica’s Closet, in Ottawa’s Upfront Magazine. Many of her other works can be found on examiner.com and Apartment613. She also has been known to dabble in burlesque dancing and pinup modeling. Veronica has been a vegetarian since 1995 and often goes through what she likes to call “vegan episodes”; Her vegan episodes always end in frustration and extra-cheese pizza. Veronica’s favourite foods are mild cheese (none of that stinky stuff!), zucchini and vegan cupcakes. She hates cauliflower, raw onions and cilantro. She’s allergic to kiwis, but probably would like them if she could eat them.
Booby is the cat. She doesn’t like to be touched. Her favourite passtimes are sunning herself underneath the living room lamp and hiding under Veronica’s bed. Her collar expresses that she is “bad to the bone”.
The oven is functional, but has no door. We may have to use it to heat the apartment on one of these cold Montreal nights, but we can’t cook with it.
